There are two rooms available for guests in our strawbale house.
LA SPIGA is a bright, romantic and simple room, equipped with a handmade wooden double bed, facing east.
Immersed in the scent of wood that surrounds the room, you can enjoy the view of the Canossa cliff and it is a unique experience to wake up and look out into a context of nature and history.
IL CHICCO is the second room of the Straw House: the spacious room has two wooden beds that can be joined into a double and a sofa bed. Oriented to the north-west, it is very cool in summer.
It overlooks the gardens of the house and it is possible to admire the original Rupe di Canossa.
Guests can use a common room where they can use the kitchen, relax with a cup of tea or entertain themselves with games or books. The room has an original self-built suspended bookcase with recycled wooden planks.
The self-made bathroom, with shower and Tadelakt walls, is shared by the two rooms.
We have made a choice that may seem unpopular, but neither WI-FI , nor refrigerator or TV are available here , we believe that this pristine place must remain so to give everyone an experience of extreme pure contact with nature.
